1. Do not expose to high temperatures under direct sunlight: The battery operates at high temperatures, which can lead to overcharging issues. Exposure to high temperatures can cause a rapid increase in the internal temperature of the power box, leading to an increase in battery temperature, which in turn raises the internal pressure of the lithium battery during charging, increasing water loss and affecting battery lifespan.
2. Do not charge the battery at high temperatures: The battery generates heat during charging, which raises its temperature. If the charging temperature is high, it may lead to excessive water loss and premature drying of the battery. If gas accumulates and encounters a heat source, it could potentially cause an explosion. Additionally, if the power box heats up or the green light does not turn on during charging, it is necessary to promptly visit an after-sales service point for battery testing or maintenance.
3. Pay attention to usage on rainy days: Although electric vehicles have moisture-proof measures for the control panel, battery, and motor, this does not mean they can be submerged in water. On rainy days, try to avoid parking the vehicle in areas exposed to rain. Light water infiltration can be naturally ventilated and dried, but if it is severe, contact company staff for assistance. The motor and control panel are particularly vulnerable to water damage, so be cautious of water depth, ensuring it does not exceed half the height of the electric wheel when driving at high speeds. Avoid riding the electric vehicle during heavy rain.
4. Minimize sudden braking: In high-temperature weather, start slowly and, if possible, take breaks to allow the speed to build up before accelerating again. While driving, try to avoid frequent acceleration and braking. This not only helps prevent high voltage charging and discharging damage to the battery but also increases the driving range.
5. Pay attention to battery maintenance: In summer, the charging time for the battery should not be excessive. If the battery is low while driving, do not continue driving but charge it immediately. Additionally, if the vehicle is not used for a long time, charge it fully before storing it and disconnect the main power circuit. Furthermore, every 1 to 2 months, the battery should be charged once.
